A senior police officer in Assam who was a part of a Particular Investigation Workforce on Manipur and massively common on social media, has resigned from service to pursue “freedom” and “independence”.
A dynamic IPS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadres, Anand Mishra, was lately posted to Manipur to be a part of the SIT probing the violence within the state. The officer is a social media sensation, dubbed “Assam’s Singham” by customers.
In his resignation letter, Mr Misra stated he resigned to pursue a lifetime of “freedom” and “independence”.
