The slaying of an unidentified lady at Torrance’s El Camino School on Christmas Eve by a sledgehammer-wielding man is beneath investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division.
The division described the sufferer solely as an Asian lady between the ages of 60 and 65.
Authorities consider that she had been gathering recyclables and that Jeffery Davis, described by sheriff’s personnel as a 40-year-old man, attacked the sufferer on Sunday round 7:08 a.m.
The girl was transported to an area hospital, the place she died of her accidents the next day.
El Camino School campus police first responded to the scene, and labored with the Sheriff’s Division to search out and arrest Davis shortly after the incident.
Authorities consider that Davis acted alone, and say nobody else was injured within the assault.
