The Policía Nacional have arrested a suspect behind a stabbing within the centre of Motril on Monday evening.
The sufferer had been out strolling when attacked, because of which, he is in intensive care at Hospital Santa Ana.
In keeping with the police, the person was captured solely hours after the assault however their investigation into the stabbing continues.
The incident occurred round 20.00h, which was witnessed by a number of passersby. They described how the sufferer was strolling throughout The Plaza de la Autonomía when he was set upon by two people.
The 35-year-old sufferer, who has deep stab wounds to the chest, is a resident of the marginalised quarter of San Antonio. Police consider that the assault was a “settling of scores,” because the sufferer and his assailants seem to know one another.
