‘Love, Not Lust’: Bombay HC Grants Bail To Man Who Had Sexual Relations With Minor | File
Nagpur, January 13: The Bombay Excessive Courtroom has granted bail to a 26-year-old man charged with raping a 13-year-old lady, holding that the sexual relationship between them was out of “love, attraction and never lust”. The accused, hailing from Amravati, was booked and jailed for raping the minor lady three years in the past, and the courtroom stated that she stayed with the person at a number of locations with out complaining of any sexual assault.

Noting that the lady was a minor and her consent was not related, Justice Urmila Joshi-Phalke stated that she had given her assertion to the Investigation Officer which confirmed that she left residence on August 23, 2020, on the excuse of shopping for a guide, went lacking and had joined the accused voluntarily, and in addition admitted her love for him.
