UN – Stéphane Séjourné to attend the Safety Council’s ministerial assembly (23 Jan. 2024)

Minister for Europe and International Affairs Stéphane Séjourné will make his first journey to New York on January 23, on the event of the UN Safety Council’s French presidency.

The minister will chair an open Safety Council debate on the ministerial degree on the Center East. The purpose of this assembly is to make progress towards a political, safety and humanitarian decision of the disaster and a long-lasting ceasefire.

Mr. Séjourné will meet with UN Secretary-Common Antonio Guterres to debate worldwide crises, together with the battle in Ukraine, and the worldwide challenges all of us face, notably the local weather. He may even meet with a sure variety of his counterparts, notably these from Jordan, Lebanon and Iran, and with the president of the Worldwide Committee of the Pink Cross.
