Hamas has given “preliminary constructive affirmation” to a proposal for the cessation of combating in Gaza and the discharge of hostages, Qatar’s international ministry spokesman stated on Thursday.
“The assembly in Paris succeeded in consolidating the proposals… That proposal has been permitted by the Israeli facet and now we now have an preliminary constructive affirmation from the Hamas’ facet,” Majed al-Ansari stated referring to conferences between Qatari, US, Israeli and Egyptian officers within the French capital on Sunday.
