The Valencia authorities is beginning to signpost the GR-92 long-distance footpath within the area – a 1,600-km route that runs the size of Spain’s Mediterranean coast – from Portbou on the France border to Tarifa, the southern-most level of mainland Spain on the Strait of Gibraltar.
Though it has been in existence because the starting of the Nineties, the one area that has moved to correctly signpost the route to this point is Cataluña, with Valencia and Andalucía lagging behind – and a few work nonetheless to be completed in Murcia.
