President Wavel Ramkalawan has despatched a message of condolence following the passing Mr Tony Mathiot.
On behalf of the nation the Head of State acknowledged the intensive contributions made by Mr Mathiot all through his profession:
“I’m deeply saddened to be taught of the passing of Mr Tony Mathiot an avid Seychellois researcher, author and historian. His contributions to the preservation of our historical past and intensive cultural data had been past distinctive and he can be sorely missed by all. On behalf of the nation I current our honest condolences to his household and pals throughout this time of nice loss.”
