New Delhi:
A 16-year-old boy died after falling from a foot-over bridge on Wazirabad highway in northeast Delhi, police stated on Thursday.
The category 9 pupil was returning dwelling in Ghaziabad when the incident occurred at round 1.45 pm on Wednesday. He was taken to the GTB Hospital with severe accidents the place medical doctors declared him useless, they stated.
“He fell on the highway beneath from a peak of about six metres and sustained severe accidents,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Pleasure Tirkey stated.
The boy’s classmate, who was with him on the time of the incident, instructed police that he was leaning towards a guardrail simply earlier than he fell down, stated the officer.
Police have registered an FIR beneath sections 336 (act endangering life or private security of others), and 304A (inflicting loss of life by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code towards the involved authority.
