A bid is being made to acquire UNESCO World Heritage standing for the Moorish ribat in Guardamar del Segura, a monastic retreat relationship from the Tenth-Eleventh centuries which was found 40 years in the past.
The ‘terribly properly conserved state’ of the advanced is due to the safety afforded by the sand dunes, after being deserted with the autumn of the Caliphate within the early Eleventh century and buried through the nice earthquake of 1040 which had its epicentre in Murcia.
