The Forestry and Wildlife Authority has emphasised the very important function of group involvement within the growth and preservation of forestry and wildlife sources. A major achievement in 2023 was the planting of over 5.2 million tree seedlings, sourced from 37 nurseries, with the energetic participation of the communities, Protection Forces members, and different teams. Moreover, the development of about 7,000 hectares of terraces and the renovation of over 4,480 hectares had been reported, alongside the development and renovation of water diversion schemes, totaling greater than 103 thousand cubic meters.
