A floating bar, restaurant and nigthclub sank as heavy rainfall continued to batter the UK.
The Bar & Boat Co was moored at Temple Pier in London. Nonetheless, footage present the boat sank into the River Thames on Thursday, January 4, as heavy rain battered the capital.
It’s thought the boat sank round 4.30pm. A Met Workplace yellow climate warning was in power on the time as storms swept throughout the UK.
A spokesman for the Bar & Co boat, which was moored at Temple Pier, advised the PA information company: “Possible it sunk due to climate situations.”
An HM Coastguard spokesman stated: “A restaurant vessel sank at Temple Pier in London on January 4.The alarm was raised at about 12.30pm and everyone seems to be accounted for.”
The Port of London Authority has suggested vessels to cross Temple Pier with “nice warning”.
A Royal Nationwide Lifeboat Establishment vessel, a Metropolitan Police boat and a London Fireplace Brigade boat had been despatched to the scene.
