Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah on Wednesday after encountering resistance in earlier conferences with Israeli officers over the remedy of Palestinians and a plan for Gaza’s future. After his personal assembly with Blinken, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned Wednesday night that Israel has “no intention” of completely occupying the Gaza Strip or displacing its civilian inhabitants.
