Christmas and New Yr opening hours for Rome museums.
Rome’s city-run museums might be open on 24 December, Christmas Eve, and on 31 December, New Yr’s Eve, from 10.00 to 14.00.
They are going to be closed on 25 December, Christmas Day, nevertheless on 26 December they are going to be open and observe their regular opening hours.
Most of Rome’s state-run museums and archaeological websites, together with the Colosseum, Pantheon and Galleria Borghese, might be closed on Christmas Day and New Yr’s Day.
Rome museums might be closed on 1 January 2024 however open on 6 January, a public vacation for the Feast of the Epiphany or La Befana, following regular opening hours.
The following day, Sunday 7 January, municipal and state-run museums in Rome might be open without spending a dime as a part of the month-to-month free-entry initiative.
