India and Iran to boost collaboration in BRICS and SCO

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. India and Iran
have agreed to develop cooperation inside the framework of BRICS and
Shanghai Cooperation Group (SCO), Pattern experiences.

Iranian Overseas Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian mentioned that in
the assembly together with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar,
the significance of the North-South worldwide transport hall
and the event of Iran’s Chabahar port had been mentioned.

The events additionally confirmed their readiness to extend
cooperation inside the framework of BRICS and SCO.

India plans to take part within the tasks mentioned with Iran
on a long-term foundation.

Earlier, it was reported that the Iranian Overseas Minister had a
phone dialog together with his Pakistani counterpart, Jalil Abbas
Jilani. Through the dialog, the Iranian overseas minister
emphasised the significance of bilateral cooperation in varied
fields.
