Transfer follows spate of protests by activists focusing on Italian cultural landmarks to attract consideration to local weather disaster.
The Italian parliament on Thursday permitted powerful new penalties on those that injury or deface monuments and heritage websites, because the right-wing authorities clamps down on so-called eco-vandals.

In an announcement on the Italian tradition ministry web site, Sangiuliano thanked the parliament for lastly passing the “eco-vandal invoice”.
“At the moment is an attractive day for Italian tradition and, particularly, for the creative and architectural heritage of the nation” – Sangiuliano said – “To any extent further, anybody who causes injury to the cultural and heritage panorama will likely be compelled to pay the price of the bills for the entire restoration of the works out of their very own pocket”.
