2024, Kazakhstan will swap to a single time zone, Development reviews.
Now Kazakhstan can have a fifth time zone (UTC+5). As Interfax
clarifies, considering the choice made on the night time of
February 29 to March 1 within the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent,
in addition to in Akmola, Almaty, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kostanay,
Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan, East -In Kazakhstan areas,
residents must set the time again one hour (at present these
areas stay within the sixth time zone).
At the moment, there are two time zones in Kazakhstan – UTC+5 and
UTC+6.
Beforehand, Kazakh specialists famous that the sixth time zone does
not correspond to pure photo voltaic time and has a destructive influence on
the well being of residents. As well as, the institution of a uniform
time will enhance the coordination of transport and different
communications and can have a constructive influence on enterprise.
