Kazakh Common Prosecutor’s Workplace detains officers concerned in mine explosion

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. The Common
Prosecutor’s Workplace of Kazakhstan has arrested 9 officers in
reference to the explosions on the Kostenko mine within the
Karaganda area, Development reviews,
referring to the press service of the workplace.

press service of the Common Prosecutor’s Workplace of Kazakhstan.

“The investigation of explosions on the mine is coming to an
finish. 9 officers of the mine have been acknowledged as suspects
and arrested,” the message reads.

A sequence of explosions occurred on October 28, 2023, on the
mine, which on the time was owned by ArcelorMittal Temirtau,
ensuing within the deaths of 46 miners and 28 accidents.

Following the incident, the corporate was transferred to
Kazakhstan. Andrey Lavrentyev, chairman of the board of administrators
of Allur Group, grew to become the brand new investor within the firm. The corporate
was renamed Qarmet.
